FULL RANKINGS

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – The LIU Post wrestling team enters next weekend's Super Region I Championships ranked seventh in the region as announced earlier this week.
 
The Pioneers earned 48 points in the rankings, just three points behind fourth-ranked Wheeling Jesuit University. The full rankings can be found at the link at the top of this article.
 
Along with the team ranking, the Pioneers also saw six individuals receive top-eight rankings in their respective weight classes. LIU Post's ranked wrestlers include sophomore Anthony Sparacio ranked second at 133, senior Joe Calderone ranked third at 141, graduate student T.J. Fabian ranked second at 157, senior Jackson Mordente ranked sixth at 165, junior Dan Arkow ranked third at 174, and sophomore Dan McClure ranked sixth at 184.
 
Sparacio currently ranks third nationally at 133 and Calderone also is ranked at the national level, coming in at 11th at 141.
 
These six along with freshmen Daniel Espineira and Damien Caffrey, and junior Logan McGinn will participate at the Super Region I Championship at the Sports Center on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown Friday, Feb. 23 and Saturday, Feb. 24.
