U.S. LACROSSE MAGAZINE POLL
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – Following a record-setting performance during a season-opening victory against American International College on Saturday, Feb. 16, the LIU Post men's lacrosse team improved to No. 5 and 6 in the national rankings as announced on Monday, Feb. 18.
The Pioneers currently rank fifth in the Nike/U.S. Lacrosse Magazine poll and sixth in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association rankings.
LIU Post opened the 2019 campaign with a program-record 28-goal output against the Yellow Jackets in the first of four home games to begin the season. The 28 goals broke a nine-year record for most goals allowed, increasing the record by two tallies from the previous mark of 26.
