BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – Following another impressive performance against No. 11/14 Saint Anselm College, the LIU Post men's lacrosse team remained ranked No. 6/5 in the national polls this week.

The Pioneers stay steadfast in both polls, retaining the No. 5 spot in the Nike/U.S. Lacrosse Magazine rankings and No. 6 in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Coaches' Poll.

Senior goalkeeper Bryan Ochs made a career-high 18 saves against the Hawks and classmate Connor Farrell notched a career-high 24 ground balls after finishing 25-of-28 (.893) in the faceoff circle. Freshman Jake Gillis recorded four goals during the win and redshirt-junior Thomas Liantonio notched six points after dishing out five assists to lead the Pioneers to a 2-0 start to the season.

LIU Post will face another nationally-ranked opponent in its third-consecutive home game to open the 2019 campaign when it hosts No. 12/11 Pace University on Saturday, March 2 at 1:00 p.m.
