EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The LIU Post baseball team suffered a 12-3 setback against East Stroudsburg University Wednesday afternoon at Creekview Park.

Joe Piscitelli had two hits for the Pioneers including a double and one RBI. Senior
Reynaldo Guillen added one hit and two RBI while senior

Daniel Keane each had one hit.
The Warriors got on the front foot early and raced out to a 6-0 lead in the bottom of the second. The Pioneers bounced back in the top of the third after an RBI double from Piscitelli that scored Franchi.
East Stroudsburg then added another run in the bottom of the fourth but the Pioneers were determined to not go down without a fight. Guillen singled in the top of the sixth, scoring Brehm and Manzione to make it a 7-3 ball game.
Unfortunately for the Pioneers, the Warriors would add five more runs and take the win 12-3.
