BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – On the heels of a perfect 5-0 week, the LIU Post baseball team moved up a spot to No. 3 in the National Collegiate Baseball Writer's Association (NCBWA) East Region poll.
The Pioneers garnered 69 points to overtake the New York Institute of Technology and earn the No. 3 ranking.
By earning a doubleheader sweep of Queens College on Saturday, May 4 at Hennekens Stadium, the Pioneers recorded their 33rd win of the season and broke their previous season wins record of 32 with one regular season game and postseason play still to come.
LIU Post's previous season wins record of 32 was achieved on two different occasions, the 2017 season and the 2010 season.

Anthony Vaglica tallied the 100
th RBI of his career.
