2009: East Coast Conference First Team … NSCAA DII All-East Region Third Team … Started 19 games for the Pioneers … tallied lone goal of the season against Southern New Hampshire (Oct. 28) … tallied 11 shots, six on goal.
Prior to C.W. Post: A four-year starter at Islip High School … led her team to League Champions and Suffolk County Champions all four years … was named captain in her final two seasons … earned all-state and all-county accolades her senior year as well as title of Suffolk County Championship Outstanding player … was given Coaches’ Award her senior year.
Personal: One of Robert and Mary Rydstrom’s four children … has two older sisters and a younger brother … majoring in speech pathology.
