2012: Daktronics, Inc. All-East Region Second Team … NCBWA East Region Second Team … ECC First Team … led the team with 13 appearances and 77.0 innings … had a 7-3 record with a 1.99 ERA ... opposing batters hit just .199 against him … struck out 69 batters and walked 18 … tossed a shutout against West Virginia Wesleyan, allowing three hits thought seven innings and matching his career-high with 10 strikeouts (Feb. 24) … threw another three-hit shutout against Dominican (March 9) … threw a complete-game four-hitter, striking out eight through nine innings against Bentley (March 14) … matched his career-high with 10 strikeouts in eight innings against mercy (April 24) … ended the season with a nine-inning, two-hit shutout of Dowling (May 5).

2011: East Coast Conference Second Team … made 12 appearances with 11 starts, and finished with a 3-7 record and a 3.31 ERA … led the team with 68.0 innings pitched … struck out a team-high 68 batters … gave up 71 hits and issued 31 walks … threw eight innings and gave up only two earned runs with seven strikeouts against Caldwell (March 9) …   tossed a complete game shutout and struck out a career-high 15 batters against Queens (April 8) … struck out nine batters in five and two thirds innings against Bridgeport (April 3) … earned the win with a complete game seven innings pitched against Molloy (April 29) scattering eight hits and allowing three runs.

Before LIU Post:  Played three years of baseball for Deer Park High School under Ted Kochenmeister … garnered all-league, all-county, all-Long Island, All-State, and league MVP honors…also an all-conference selection in football.

Personal: Son of Marty and Kristina … has two brothers Karl and Pete … Pete is a former LIU Post baseball standout … criminal justice major.
