2013: Played in all 14 games ... scored 19 goals and added 3 assists ... picked up 19 groundballs.
2011: Played in seven games … notched an assist against Grand Canyon (Feb. 19) … scored his only goal of the season against Mesa State (Feb. 22).
2010: Played in 12 games … tallied one goal and one assist … scored the goal against Wheeling Jesuit (April 17) and recorded the assist against American International … caused two turnovers and picked up two ground balls.
Prior to LIU Post: Played at Avon Old Farms under head coach Bartolo Governanti … received the Skip Flannagan Award his senior year … also played soccer and ice hockey … the Winged Beavers were champions in 2007.
Personal: Older of Bernard and Christine Ruhlig’s two sons … favorite athlete is Christopher Higgins … admires his father most outside of sports … majoring in business finance.
