2012: Started 9 games … totaled 25 tackles (12u, 13a) … added four tackles for loss, three sacks, one fumble recovery and one QB hurry … made a season-high four tackles at Bloomsburg (Sept. 22).

2011: Redshirt season.

Prior to C.W. Post: Played at Lynbrook … the Owls won the Long Island Class III title in 2010 … recorded 60 tackles with 10 sacks his senior year … named All-County his junior and senior years.

Personal: Middle child of Charles and Barbara Cheney’s three children … Charles played baseball at Suffolk … plans to pursue a career either in the NFL or as a trainer … major is undecided.
