2006: NFCA Northeast Region First-Team… NYCAC Pitcher of the Year… two-time NYCAC Pitcher of the Week… pitched in 29 games, and earned 18 starts (including 17 complete games)… posted a 20-5 record with a 1.38 ERA and 134 strikeouts in 147 innings pitched… opponents batted just .195 against the right-hander… pitched a five-inning no-hitter with nine strikeouts against Bridgeport (Apr. 29)… followed up that performance one day later with a complete-game four-hitter to go along with a season-high 13 strikeouts against St. Thomas Aquinas… earned NCAA regional victories against Southern New Hampshire (0.2 innings in relief, two stirkeouts) and UMass-Lowell (CG, 4 H, 8 K)… tied for team lead with five shutouts, while combining on one more blanking.
2005: Made 19 appearances in her first C.W. Post campaign, starting on 10 occasions… compiled a 9-3 record with a 2.00 ERA and 95 strikeouts in 70 innings of work… pitched both ends of a doubleheader against Mercy (Apr. 10), accumulating 24 strikeouts on the day… picked up a no-hitter with a season-best 13 strikeouts in the opening contest against the Flyers… hurled a complete-game six-hitter with six strikeouts against Post University (Mar. 30)… allowed just two runs over her last nine appearances.
PRIOR TO C.W. POST: Late arrival in 2005 who transferred from Hofstra and immediately found a regular spot in the Pioneers’ pitching rotation … Competed for four seasons with the Holy Trinity varsity under Titan head coach (and former C.W. Post volleyball coach) Susan Cassidy … Closed out a magnificent four-year high school career at the school in style by helping the Titans capture the 2003 New York State title, and earned the championship game Most Valuable Player award … Earned both All-Region and All-State accolades and was also chosen as the 2003 CHSAA Player of the Year … Ended that dream season with a jaw-dropping 0.20 ERA with 266 strikeouts … A two-time team captain that won a host of academic honors at the school.
