Joshua Soto was appointed as the Director of Media Relations in October of 2017.

Soto arrives at LIU Post having most recently served as the Assistant Manager of Athletic Communications at St. Joseph's College (L.I.) for the past two years, where he was the primary contact for women's soccer, women's basketball, women's lacrosse, and baseball. In addition, Soto was the head of game day operations where he oversaw over 30 student-workers, in addition, he was also the SAAC moderator for the Golden Eagles.

The Deer Park, NY native returns to division II after serving as an intern for the Director of Athletic Communications at Dowling College back in 2015, where he served as the primary contact for the men’s and women’s soccer, women’s basketball, men’s and women’s lacrosse programs, while also serving as secondary contact for the men’s basketball and softball programs. Soto also served as a volunteer assistant coach for the Dowling College baseball program for three years.

As an undergraduate at Dowling, Soto worked as an athletic communications work-study, acting as the primary contact for women’s soccer and women’s lacrosse his junior and senior year. Additionally he worked with numerous other programs, including baseball and men’s lacrosse.

Joshua is an avid baseball fan, and lists the New York Yankees as his favorite team. He currently serves as a coach for the Long Island Jr. Ducks, and spends his free time coaching baseball.

Soto is currently a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America, and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.

The Deer Park, NY native earned both his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor's degree in Sport Management at Dowling College.
