All NCAA East Regional Games To Be Broadcast Live Online
SOUTH EASTON, Mass. – The 2012 NCAA Men's and Women's East Regional Basketball Tournaments begin Friday, March 9 with the First Round of the Women's Championship, and culminate Tuesday, March 13 with the Men's Regional Final, and this year fans will have more ways than ever to follow the action, whether it be at the games, on their computers, or with their mobile devices.
For the third straight year, the three conferences that make up the East Region (The Central Athletic Collegiate Conference, the East Coast Conference, and the Northeast-10 Conference) will be partnering with Pack Network to provide free live video streaming of every game of the regional.
In addition, WCWP's Joe Szadok and Matt Soldano will be calling all C.W. Post games live through www.wcwpsports.com . Fans can also follow updates through the Pioneers' Twitter account, @cwpostpioneers.
The Men's East Regional will be hosted by Franklin Pierce University, and will take place at Assumption College, while the Women's East Regional will be hosted by Bentley University and all games will be played at Bentley's Dana Center.
Once again this year, fans will be able to watch all the action live on any mobile device with video capabilities, including iPhones, iPads, Droids, and many others.
This year's NCAA East Regional PackCasts will feature all the production elements of a television broadcast, including replays, interviews with players and coaches, and more.
The women's tournament kicks off the weekend with four quarterfinal games on Friday, and the men's first round takes place all day Saturday. Both tournaments culminate with the East Regional Final with a spot in the Elite Eight at stake – the women's taking place Monday night at 7 p.m. and the men's the following night, also at 7 p.m.
