MANSFIELD, Mass. (Jan. 28, 2015) - The Northeast-10 Conference released its Fall 2014 Commissioner's Honor Roll Wednesday, and a combined total of 53 LIU Post football and field hockey student-athletes were represented on the ledger.
In order to be eligible for selection, a student-athlete must have met or exceeded a minimum 3.0 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale during the specified semester.
Seven of the honorees for the Pioneers posted a 4.0 GPA, four of which came from the football program. They were seniors
Brendan Dorfer (Floral Park, N.Y.),
Tyler Feely (Plant City, Fla.) and
Chris Rossi (Hillsborough, N.J.),
along with freshman
Patrick Williams (Westbury, N.Y.).
The LIU Post field hockey program produced three members of the 4.0 GPA club. Graduate
Dani Crouse (Westville, South Africa), sophomore
Meredith Stocklin (Mount Laurel, N.J.) and freshman
Kaycee Zelkovsky (Lambertville, N.J.) all achieved perfection in the classroom.
21 other student-athletes posted a grade-point average in the 3.50-3.99 range for the green and gold, whereas 25 Pioneers boasted a GPA between a 3.0 and a 3.49.
