CLARION, Pa. (Jan. 12, 2016) - On Tuesday, the Don Hansen Football Gazette Committee released its 2015 NCAA Division II All-Super Region One Team, and four LIU Post student-athletes earned the nod.

Senior tight end Sean Binckes (Brooklyn, N.Y.) paved the way with a second-team selection. Senior offensive lineman Mike Sollenne (Massapequa, N.Y.), junior quarterback Jeff Kidd (Salem, Ore.) and red-shirt junior wide receiver Shane Hubbard (St. Albans, N.Y.) all garnered third-team accolades.

Binckes, a repeat All-Super Region One second-team honoree, also earned All-Northeast-10 Conference first-team and D2CCA All-Super Region One second-team recognition in his final season in a Pioneer uniform. He led all tight ends in the league in receptions (48), while also shattering the program's all-time record for that category. Additionally, Binckes amassed 428 receiving yards and hauled in four touchdown passes in the process.

In his LIU Post debut, Kidd, an All-NE-10 and ECAC All-Star first-team honoree, bested the conference in nearly every passing statistic, in addition to ranking 19th in Division II in passing touchdowns (29). He completed 57.2 percent (235-of-411) of his passes in 2015 for a league-best 2,778 yards. Kidd's 235 pass completions were tops in the NE-10, as well.

Kidd was well-protected by Sollenne, who staved opposing pass rushers off his signal-caller's blind side. The left tackle opened gaps and kept the pocket intact to the tune of the league's No. 1 passing offense and third-ranked rushing offense.

Lastly, Hubbard, the captain of the Pioneers' receiving corps, caught at least one touchdown pass in 10 of the team's 11 contests. He led the league in yards per catch (17.3), and made the second-most touchdown receptions in the NE-10 with 13.

Furthermore, Hubbard ranked in the Top-10 in three other statistical categories, including receiving yards (830 - 4th) and receptions (48 - 6th). His efforts landed him All-NE-10 and ECAC All-Star first-team accolades.
