MANSFIELD, Mass. (Feb. 3, 2016) - For the second-straight year, LIU Post football senior tight end Sean Binckes (Brooklyn, N.Y.) was recognized to the Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference Team, released Wednesday.

Binckes, who boasts a 3.82 cumulative grade-point average in Health Sciences, started all 10 games he appeared in for the Pioneers in 2015. He made 48 receptions, which led all NE-10 tight ends, for 428 yards and four touchdowns.

Binckes' efforts landed him spots on the All-NE-10 First Team and Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Super Region One Second Team. In addition, the Brooklyn native was tabbed as a Dream Bowl All-Star.

Binckes concluded his four-year tenure at LIU Post as the program's all-time leader in receptions (151), breaking former standout Jeremiah Pope's mark of 139. He also amassed a career 1,555 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns.
