BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Feb. 3, 2016) - Former LIU Post men's basketball standout Tyuan Williams (Newark, N.J.) has signed a professional contract with Wydad Casablanca of the Morocco D-1 League.

In his senior year (2014-15) with the Pioneers, Williams was named to the All-Met Division II and All-East Coast Conference Second Team and ECC All-Tournament Team. He started 21 of 23 contests, averaging a team-leading 14.3 points and 8.0 rebounds per game. Williams also posted six double-doubles and reached double figures in scoring on 21 different occasions.

He became the newest member of the 1,000-point club against University of the District of Columbia on Jan. 20, 2015.
