Brookville, NY| Redshirt senior defensive lineman Anthony DeNunzio and redshirt junior linebacker Patrick Williams represent LIU Post on the CoSIDA Academic All-District team for the 2017 football season, released Thursday.
 
DeNunzio, a physical education major, has a 3.41 grade-point average at LIU Post. DeNunzio finished second in the conference in sacks (8.5) and sack yards (47). This season he is sixth on the team in total tackles (43)
 
Williams, a finance major with a 3.96 GPA, is in his fourth year at LIU Post. He has played in all 10 games this season and is fourth on the team in total tackles (44).
 
DeNunzio and Williams both advance to the national ballot for Academic All-America consideration.
