MANSFIELD, Mass. – The LIU Post football team landed two members on the Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference team as announced by the conference office March 1.
 
Senior defensive lineman Anthony DeNunzio and redshirt-sophomore defensive lineman Abel Joseph garnered spots on the academic squad for the 2017 season. DeNunzio, a physical education major, has compiled a 3.36-grade point average for his career, while Joseph, a business major, has gathered a 3.53 cumulative GPA, including a 3.88 this fall.
 
Both players earned spots on the All-NE10 team this fall, with DeNunzio gathering his third all-conference selection and Joseph securing his first career honor. DeNunzio finished tied for fifth on the team with 43 tackles, while leading the team with 16 tackles for a loss and Joseph finished right behind 35 total tackles and seven tackles for a loss.
