Prior to LIU Post: Played two years of varsity basketball for coach Donald Kent …one of his assistant coaches as McClancy was former Pioneer baseball standout Mike Sylvester … served as team captain of the Crusaders during his senior season … also played soccer for four years, helping the Crusaders to a City Championship in 2009.
