Ruppert joins the Pioneers’ coaching staff after a two-year stint at DIII Mount Saint Mary’s College. Ruppert, who was the defensive coordinator for the Knights, was responsible for the defense and goalkeepers.
During his tenure at MSMC, he guided the Knights Helped to their first-ever conference playoff berth (2017), Additionally he coached the program’s first ever USILA DIII All American, as well as the Skyline Conference Offensive Player of the Year (2017).
Prior to Mount St. Mary, Ruppert served as the head coach for the Robert Morris University club lacrosse team in 2013-14.
A three-year starter for Robert Morris University, Ruppert owns the career record in wins 24. He stands second all-time on the Robert Morris career record lists in both career saves (379) and saves per game (9.02). He also owns fourth place on the record list with a .493 save percentage over his four seasons, and third with a 10.79 career goals against average.
Ruppert graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in social science, and then his Master of Science degree in instructional leadership with a concentration in sport management from Robert Morris.
