Ashleigh Daniels enters her third season at LIU Post. 
           
Daniels enjoyed a five-year career on the Hofstra field hockey squad, where she played in 51 games during her career, scoring 10 goals.  She served as team captain her senior season, and also received the Outstanding Athlete award following her final season. 
           
A native of Bethany, Connecticut, Daniels has a wealth of youth coaching experience, including serving as a director and coach for youth clinics and camps  on Long Island during her time at Hofstra.  A member of the SAAC committee, she also helped organize reading programs for elementary school youth as well as helping to coordinate and launch community service initiatives for her fellow student-athletes. 
           
Daniels earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing, and currently resides in Oyster Bay, N.Y.
