Connor Drost, a standout four-year midfielder for the Pioneers, enters his second season as an assistant coach with the LIU Post men's lacrosse team in 2017.

Drost enjoyed a decorated career in Brookville, as he was a three-time All-East Coast Conference selection, a 2015 USILA All-America second-team honoree and a USILA Scholar All-American. In his four years as a Pioneer, Drost scored 69 goals and recorded 70 assists for a 139-point total.

"We are very happy to have Connor assisting our staff," Head Coach John Jez said. "For four years, he was a leader for our program on the field and now we are lucky enough to have him help us from the sideline. Connor will help with the offense and man-up unit."

Drost was also a member of the 2013, '14 and '15 East Coast Conference title-winning teams and the '14 squad that played for an NCAA Division II National Championship.

Drost currently resides in Wading River, N.Y.
