Softball Participates In American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk
The C.W Post softball team participated in the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk at Jones Beach for the second year in a row on Oct. 19.
The team walked amongst 50,000 people who included many survivors and people walking in memory of those lost to the disease. In total, the walk raised $3 million dollars which will go towards research, education, and advocacy.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month and participating in the walk, members of the C.W Post softball team wore pink shirts they designed which showcased their team spirit and pride in taking part in such an important event for women everywhere.
