Weiser Named ECAC Defender Of The Week

CENTERVILLE, Mass. (Oct. 28, 2008) – Freshman
Allie Weiser (Grand Island, N.Y.) of the C.W. Post women's soccer team has been named this week's Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Defensive Player of the week, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.
Weiser earned two wins and two shutouts in net for the Pioneers this week, tallying a total of 14 saves. Weiser made seven saves in a double overtime tie with Pace, and five saves in a 3-2 win over Queens. She finished the week making two saves in a 2-0 shutout win of Molloy. She has registered a 10-0-1 record in goal.
C.W. Post (15-1-1, 8-0-0 ECC) clinched the East Coast Conference regular season title and will close out the regular season with a home game against the University of Bridgeport on Friday, Oct. 31 at 3 p.m.
