Softball Ranked Eighth In Final National Fastpitch Coaches Poll
STARKVILLE, Miss. (May 24, 2008) – The C.W. Post softball team finished the season ranked eighth overall in the final National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II Top 25 Poll, released on May 21.
It matched the highest placing for the Pioneers this season, as they began the season also ranked eighth in the nation. C.W Post closed out the season with an overall record of 48-16 and made its second straight postseason trip to the NCAA Division II Softball Championship tournament, held this year in Houston, Texas.
