Yodowitz Repeats As NFCA All-American

STARKVILLE, Miss. (May 14, 2008) - The Louisville Slugger/National Fastpitch Coaches Association has released its Division II All-America selections, and senior pitcher
Samantha Yodowitz (Suffern, N.Y.) was named to the Second Team for the second straight season.
Yodowitz posted a 30-8 record with a 1.62 ERA, striking out 192 batters in 244 innings. She was equally impressive at the plate, batting .342 with 39 RBI, and leading the Pioneers with eight home runs and 20 extra-base hits. The senior lefty started every game in the Pioneers' post-season, posting a 3-0 record in the East Coast Conference Championship, and a 4-0 record in the NCAA Northeast Regional Championship.
The senior garnered several other accolades for her performance in 2008. She was named to the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division II All-Star Team, the NCFA All-Northeast Region First Team, as well as the All-ECC First Team.
C.W. Post went 48-16 in 2008, setting a program record for wins in a season in the process. The Pioneers won their second straight NCAA Division II Championship Northeast Regional title, as well.
