Softball Announces Upcoming Fall Schedule
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Sept. 17, 2008) – C.W. Post head softball coach
Jamie Apicella has announced the upcoming fall schedule. The Pioneers will begin play at the Stony Brook Fall Tournament on Sept. 21 and later will host New York Institute of Technology and Stony Brook as part of the C.W. Post Fall Invitational on Oct. 4.
C.W. Post will also face Division I Saint Peter's and Fordham at the Fordham University Ram Invitational on Sept. 27.
The Pioneers' annual Homecoming alumni softball game will be played on Oct. 18 at 10 a.m. at the Softball Complex.
C.W. Post returns following a 48-16 campaign in 2008 that saw the Pioneers claim their second straight NCAA Northeast Regional title and advance to the College World Series in Houston, Texas.
