Women's Soccer Ranked 14th In Latest National Polls
KANSAS CITY, Kan. (Sept. 23, 2008)- The National Soccer Coaches Association released its weekly poll Tuesday afternoon. The recent poll ranks C.W. Post in 14th place nationally in Division II.
The Pioneers dropped eight spots in the latest national poll, due to a 2-1 non-conference loss Saturday afternoon to Southern New Hampshire University. C.W. Post had a scored a 2-1 win over non-conference rival Southern Connecticut State University earlier in the week. The loss was the first for the Pioneers, creating a 6-1-0 record. The Pioneers remain the only East Coast Conference team in the national polls.
C.W. Post will take the field again Wednesday afternoon as the travel to Holy Family for a 4 p.m. contest.
