Rydstrom Tabbed ECC Rookie Of The Week
CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Nov. 2, 2009) – Freshman midfielder Prudence Rydstrom (Islip, N.Y.) was named this week's East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
Rydstrom banked her first goal of the season as the Pioneers defeated Southern New Hampshire last week. Rydstrom connected with teammate
Danielle DeLuca to score the final goal of the game just under 15 minutes into the second half to give the Pioneers a 3-1 lead and the eventual win.
C.W. Post (12-5-1, 5-2 ECC) will host Dowling College in the semifinal round of the East Coast Conference Championships on Friday, Nov. 6 at 1 p.m.
