Softball Ranked 14th In Latest NFCA Poll
STARKVILLE, Miss. (Apr. 15, 2009)- The National Fastpitch Coaches Association released its weekly Top 25 poll, as the previously unranked C.W. Post Pioneers move into 14th place. The rise for the Pioneers comes after an eight game win-streak, including a sweep of East Coast Conference rival University of Bridgeport.
Alabama-Huntsville tops the charts this week receiving seven first place votes. They are followed closely behind by North Georgia who also received seven first place votes. C.W. Post is the only ECC team to be nationally ranked this week.
The Pioneers currently hold an overall record of 25-11, while posting a 9-1 record in conference play.
