Softball Stays 14th In NFCA Poll
STARKVILLE, Miss. (April 22, 2009) – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association released its weekly coaches poll and the C.W. Post softball team remained 14th after a 5-1 record last week.
Alabama-Huntsville received nine first-place votes and remained first in the poll. 2009 Pioneer opponents Wayne State (Mich.) and Minnesota State-Mankato were ranked 20th and 21st, respectively and LeMoyne College entered the poll at 23rd after receiving votes last week.
C.W. Post (28-12) resumes action Thursday afternoon at home against Molloy College. The first pitch is slated for 3:30 p.m.
