Softball Tabbed 20th In Latest NFCA Polls
STARKVILLE, Mass. (April 29th, 2009)-The C.W. Post Softball team is ranked 20th in this week's National Fastpitch Coaches Association poll, released Wednesday afternoon.
Alabama-Huntsville received nine first-place votes this week to stay atop the poll. North Georgia and Lock Haven also received votes, taking second and third place, respectively. C.W. Post, who is also ranked second in the NCAA East Regional rankings, remains the only East Coast Conference team to be nationally ranked, with an overall record of 31-16.
C.W. Post resumes action Friday, May 1, as they advance to game three of the East Coast Conference tournament to take on rival Adelphi University at 9 a.m.
