Joe Kiser sat in the bleachers at the C.W. Post softball field Friday, looking pretty energetic for a guy who hadn't had a full night's sleep since Tuesday.

Sarah Kiser, cheered his daughter on and exchanged greetings with fellow softball parents whom he was meeting for the first time. It was a moment Kiser had been dreaming about all season, one he envisioned every time he sat down in the middle of a night at a computer at his U.S. Air Force base in Qatar to follow his daughter's season on the Internet.
