Women's Soccer Ranked 25th In NSCAA Preseason Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Aug. 12, 2009) – The National Soccer Coaches Association of America released its Division II Preseason poll, ranking the C.W. Post women's soccer team 25th overall. The Pioneers are joined by East Coast Conference rival University of Bridgeport, who was ranked 19th out of the 25-team poll.
 
The Pioneers return under the direction of second-year head coach Mark Dawson, after completing the 2008 season with an overall record of 17-3-1 and tying the program record for wins. C.W. Post also captured the East Coast Conference Championship and made appearance in the NCAA Division II Northeast Regional for the second consecutive season. The Pioneers ended their season ranked 17th overall in the final 2008 NSCAA poll.
 
C.W. Post kicks of its season on Aug, 27 as it travels to Bloomsburg University. The Pioneers are set to open conference play on Sept. 10th as they host Philadelphia University at 4:30 p.m.
