Women's Soccer Rises To 13th Place In Latest NSCAA Rankings
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Sept. 8, 2009)- The National Soccer Coaches Association of America released its weekly poll, moving the C.W. Post Pioneers up five spots to 13th place. The Pioneers remain the only East Coast Conference team to be nationally ranked
The rise in rankings comes after C.W. Post continued its undefeated streak last week, downing Holy Family University 4-1 in Pioneers' home opener Wednesday afternoon. Junior
Qaroline Nahl tallied two goals while the Pioneer defense held their opponent to just three shots on goal to help C.W. Post defeat the Warriors 4-1. The Pioneers improved their overall record to 3-0 for the season.
C.W. Post is back in action Sept. 8 when they travel to Southern Connecticut State University for a 7 p.m. matchup.
