C.W. Post Place 67th in Comprehensive Study of Both Academics and Athletics Among Division II
CHICAGO, ILL. (Oct. 18, 2010) – C.W. Post was recently ranked 67th among NCAA Division II universities in the 8th annual NCSA Collegiate Power Rankings. NCSA Athletic Recruiting announced the rankings, which are based off of academic and athletics standards of all NCAA athletics programs across the country.
These Power Rankings were created to help prospective student athletes and their loved ones evaluate the particular strengths of the top colleges and universities in all three athletic division levels. The rankings are calculated based on averaging student-athlete graduation rates, academic rankings provided by U.S. News & World Report, as well as the strength of athletic departments as determined by the Learfield Sports Directors' Cup ranking.
The NCSA helps to connect over 35,000 college coaches with student-athletes who are pushing to pursue both higher education and the chance to compete in athletics at the college level.
