Softball Climbs To No. 18 In NFCA Poll

STARKVILLE, Miss. (April 14, 2010) – After posting a 5-1 record last week, the C.W. Post softball team climbed three spots to No. 18 in this week's National Fastpitch Coaches Poll released on Wednesday. 
 
North Georgia remains undefeated at 39-0 and received a unanimous 16 first-place votes to lead the poll. 
 
C.W. Post (27-7, 13-1 ECC) is the winner of six straight contests and is the second-highest ranked team in the East region only to New Haven, which is ranked 14th and happens to be the Pioneers' next opponent on April 15.  The Pioneers are also ranked second in the latest NCAA East Region poll, behind New Haven.
