Jamie Apicella's team has won at least 30 games.
C.W. Post put up three runs in the bottom of the first, as senior center fielder
Melissa Medina (Levittown, N.Y.) led off with a walk and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt. Freshman second baseman
Rogin Hardy (Kirkland, Wash.) lined a single to left center that scored Medina, and Hardy moved to second on the throw. Graduate

Sarah Kiser (Arnold, Md.) earned the win as she tossed a three-hit shutout, striking out 11 as she improved to 15-3 on the season. Hardy went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI, and Softy, Kulnis and Bright each knocked two hits in the effort.
The Pioneers struck quickly in game two, as they took a 3-0 lead in the first yet again. Medina singled to the shortstop to lead off the inning, and a two-out walk to Softy put two runners on base. A fielding error by the Bridgeport shortstop brought in one run, and a fielding error by the second baseman scored another. Capella's infield single scored the third run of the inning.
C.W. Post carried the 3-0 lead into the fourth, but Bridgeport scored two runs to break up the shutout, courtesy of an RBI single to left and an RBI sacrifice fly to right field.
However, the Pioneers answered with two runs of their own in the fifth, with a Kulnis sacrifice fly driving in sophomore left fielder
Kerry Fisher (Barto, Pa.), who had led off the inning with a single, and Bright singling in another run as she drove Hardy in from second base.
Up 5-2 in the sixth, the Pioneers tacked on two more runs on a Fisher RBI single up the middle, and C.W. Post went on to win by a final score of 7-2.
