Softball Moves Up To No. 17 In This Week's NFCA Poll
STARKVILLE, Miss. (April 28, 2010) – After posting a 5-1 record last week, the C.W. Post softball team moved up one spot to No. 17 in this week's NFCA coaches poll. The Pioneers are also ranked second overall in the NCAA East region.
North Georgia remains the top team with a 450 record. The University of New Haven is the highest ranked team from the East region with a 30-4 overall record.
The Pioneers are the only ranked team from the East Coast Conference. Dowling College received votes for the second straight week.
C.W. Post (38-10, 24-2 ECC) will close out the regular season at Dowling on Saturday, May 1 at 12 p.m.
