Softball Receives Votes In Final NFCA Poll

STARKVILLE, Miss. (June 3, 2010) – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association released its final Top 25 poll and the C.W. Post softball team has received votes, it was announced on Thursday.
 
NCAA Champion Hawaii-Pacific received all 16 first-place votes. East Coast Conference opponents Molloy and Dowling finished the season ranked 10th and 24th respectively. Another 2010 opponent, New Haven, was ranked 16th.
 
C.W. Post (41-16, 25-3 ECC) received votes in every NFCA poll distributed this season. The Pioneers were the East Coast Conference regular season champions with a 25-3 conference record and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the ninth straight year.
