Pioneer Student-Athletes Participate in Habitat for Humanity
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Dec. 15, 2011) – On Dec. 10, members of the C.W. Post field hockey and football teams participated in Habitat for Humanity. The student-athletes went to locations in both Westbury and Mineola to lend a hand.
Going to both Westbury and Mineola this past Saturday to work on two separate homes, the members of field hockey and football were involved in activities such as pulling out installation in one house while also adding dormitory for another.
The Habitat for Humanity in Nassau County (HFHNC) was established back in 1992 as a local non-profit affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. The organization is committed to the development of local communities and the empowerment of families through their housing ministry.
