Freshman third baseman Nicole Hagenah (Commack, N.Y.) led the Pioneer bats with three hits, three RBI and a run scored.
In game one, the Panthers grabbed an early lead in the top of the first inning when leftfielder Amy Ogden scored on a sacrifice bunt.
The Pioneers came back to score three runs in the bottom of the fifth, beginning with an RBI single from freshman leftfielder Carly Chamberlain (Nesco, N.J.).
