Softball Ranked Second In NCAA East Region
INDIANAPOLIS (April 28, 2011) – The C.W. Post softball team held onto the No. 2 spot in this week's NCAA East region poll.
The Pioneers (32-12, 18-8 ECC) played then-ranked Dowling to a 1-1 split earlier this week and has won 14 of its last 18 contests.
Dowling leads the poll while fellow ECC opponent, Molloy, is ranked third. Other C.W. Post opponents are ranked, including (4) Southern Connecticut, (5), Caldwell, (7) New Haven and (9) Merrimack.
C.W. Post returns to action on Saturday for an ECC matchup against Bridgeport.
