Softball Announces Three Clinic Dates In December
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Oct. 24, 2012) – LIU Post head softball coach
Jamie Apicella along with his coaching staff and team will offer a softball clinic for girls ages 13-18 on three sessions on Dec. 2, Dec. 9 and Dec. 16 at the Pratt Recreation Center on campus.
A registration fee of $85 covers all three sessions. The Dec. 2 and Dec. 9 sessions will run from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. while Dec. 16 will run 8 a.m.-10 a.m.
Apicella, along with assistant coach
Carla Campagna and current members of the Pioneer softball team, will offer pitching development and speed mechanic, catching and fielding fundamentals, controlled game situations, team fundamentals, position player skills, base running instruction and sliding techniques.
