PSAC Recognizes Dragon, Wilson To All-Conference Teams; Margiotta Named Freshman Of The Year

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. (Nov. 6, 2012) – The Pennsylvania Athletic State Conference released the 2012 Field Hockey All-Conference teams this week.  Junior forward Carlee Dragon (Bridgewater, N.J.) and sophomore forward Lyn-Marie Wilson (St. Michael's, Barbados) were each named to All-Conference teams and freshman Keliann Margiotta (Sewell, N.J.) was voted the PSAC East Freshman of the Year.

All three players started in every contest this season.  Dragon, who is a three-time all-conference honoree, led the team in scoring with 19 goals, including six game-winners, along with six assists.  Her goals this season bring her career total to 51.  Wilson added three goals and four assists in 17 games.

Margiotta was second in scoring on the squad with 13 goals and three assists to bring her season point total to 29.

LIU Post finished its season with a 7-10 overall record and 3-7 conference mark.
