Unfortunately, LIU Post could not capitalize and were unable to ever pull ahead of Dowling. Turnovers and missed shots plagued the Pioneers allowing Dowling to finish the game on an 8-1 run with the scoreboard reading 57-46 at the final buzzer.
The Pioneers look to bounce back Saturday, Dec. 8 as they host Pace University in the Pratt Recreation Center. Tip-off is set for 1:30 p.m.
