Softball Climbs To Ninth In Latest NFCA Top 25 Weekly Poll
STARKVILLE, Miss. (Feb. 22, 2012) – The C.W. Post softball team moved up on spot to ninth in this week's NFCA Top 25 poll, released on Wednesday.
Alabama-Huntsville received 14 first-place votes and is the new leader this week with an 8-0 record.
The Pioneers represent the only team in the East in the rankings. Merrimack and Dowling each received votes.
C.W. Post opens the season on March 4 against St. Cloud State and Ferris State in Kissimmee, Fla. as part of the Spring Rebel Games.
