Hagenah Garners ECC Player Of The Week Honor
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (March 26, 2012) – C.W. Post sophomore shortstop
Nicole Hagenah (Commack, N.Y.) was named this week's East Coast Conference Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Hagenah, who shares the weekly honor with Mercy's Jenna Ausiello, batted .545, going 12-for-22 at the plate that included two doubles and three home runs. She hit two homers in the nightcap against Adelphi to drive in four runs. Against, Queens, she combined to go 4-for-6 with three RBI, including a home run. She batted 4-for-6 with three RBI and two runs scored against Southern New Hampshire.
C.W. Post (14-10, 2-0 ECC) returns to action on Tuesday at Mercy College and will host Dowling Thursday afternoon at the Softball Complex.
