Softball Ranked Third In NCAA East Region Poll
Division II Region Rankings
INDIANAPOLIS (April 11, 2012) – The NCAA released the latest regional poll of the 2012 season for Division II softball and has C.W. Post ranked third in the East Region. The rankings reflect the ballots cast by the regional advisory committees through April 8.
Southern Connecticut leads the region while East Coast Conference leader Molloy College is second in front of the Pioneers. Also ranked in the region are Pioneer opponents Caldwell (5), Adelphi (6), Southern New Hampshire (7), New Haven (8) and Dominican (9).
The Pioneers are 28-14 overall with a 16-2 conference mark. They will host Mercy on Thursday at 3 p.m. before closing out the weekend at Dowling on Saturday at 12 p.m.
