Softball Remains Third In NCAA East Region
INDIANAPOLIS (April 18, 2012) – C.W. Post softball remained third in this week's NCAA Division II East region rankings that were released Wednesday for games played through April 15.
The Pioneers posted a 6-2 record last week with sweeps over the University of Bridgeport and Mercy College and splits with Molloy College and Dowling College.
Southern Connecticut State University continues to lead the field of top 10 teams in the region while Molloy held on to the No. 2 spot. Southern New Hampshire University and Pace University fell out of the rankings while Assumption College and Dowling College entered the poll ranked ninth and 10
th, respectively.
C.W. Post (33-15) plays Caldwell College on Wednesday and will host Molloy on Friday at 3 p.m.
